The European League of Legends scene has experienced a spectacular rise this year, at least in terms of its top competition, the LEC. The most important European league has generated impressive numbers this year thanks to multiple factors, such as co-streaming by major streamers like Ibai, Kameto, and Caedrel. However, the main reason for the LEC’s growth has undoubtedly been the entry of new teams with large fan bases, like Karmine Corp in France and MAD Lions KOI and GiantX in Spain.

Fnatic and G2 continue to keep European hopes alive, especially in the case of the samurais, who are one step away from the quarter-finals. Two teams each from the LPL and LCK-Gen.G, LNG, Hanwha Life, and Top Esports-are already qualified for that stage.
League of Legends Worlds 2024 Schedule
In this World Championship, the best teams from each region will face off, and the Western teams will try to challenge the Asians-specifically the Koreans and Chinese, who are undoubtedly the dominant forces in global LoL. Furthermore, this year more than ever, the Spanish fanbase will be closely watching the World Championship, as a national team has qualified for the biggest event of the year.
This club is MAD Lions KOI, and not only is it Spanish, with four players and one coach also from Spain, but it is also Ibai Llanos’s team, which carries significant meaning. Therefore, the expectation is that this will be the most followed League of Legends World Championship in history, at least in our country.
