On Saturday, October 5, the WWE will present the return of a classic in professional wrestling from Atlanta, Georgia: WWE Bad Blood 2024, headlined by a Hell in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk, along with Cody Rhodes teaming up with Roman Reigns for the first time.
This event is considered a WWE classic, having introduced the first Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels back in 1997.
This will be the fourth edition of the event, now taking place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, 27 years later. Notably, this will be the first Bad Blood organized for both Raw and SmackDown superstars.
Additionally, this will be the first time since 2004 that this event has taken place, with current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill serving as the event’s hosts.
The event will compete directly with a UFC PPV for the first time since the two companies merged to form TKO Group Holdings in September 2023.
To avoid competing for viewership, the event will start earlier than usual, beginning at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT.
For this special occasion, there will be no Countdown to WWE Bad Blood, the typical pre-show that offers the final hour of hype before the main event.
The event will be broadcast via Peacock on PPV for the U.S. and WWE Network internationally.
