Yolanda Saldívar, the woman convicted for the murder of singer Selena Quintanilla in 1995, expressed her desire to become Shakira’s personal assistant once she is released from prison, something that could happen in March 2025. The former nurse, currently 63 years old, is serving a life sentence, but her good behavior in prison has allowed her the possibility of requesting parole.
In a recent interview with the BBC, Saldívar revealed that her intention is to return to work and mentioned that she deeply admires the singer from Barranquilla. “I would like to be Shakira’s right hand,” she said in the interview.
