Ron Perlman weighed in on the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists strike after learning about an executive who claimed that they were going to prolong the strike until union members “start losing their apartments and homes“.
Perlman’s recording is the second video that goes viral regarding the strike as SAG-AFTRA President, actress Fran Drescher also went viral when she addressed the public and the executives saying “How they plead poverty, that they’re losing money left and right when giving hundreds of millions of dollars to their CEOs. It is disgusting. Shame on them“
The beloved actor who became famous for playing Hellboy and many other movies working alongside Guillermo Del Toro and many other directors went hard against the rumor of the executive who reportedly said that.
Pearlman began “Listen to me mother***er”
“One thing, before I get off this … the motherf-cker who said we’re gonna keep this thing going until people start losing their houses and their apartments,” Perlman began. “Listen to me, motherf-cker, there’s a lot of ways to lose your house. Some of it is financial, some of it is karma, and some of it is just figuring out who the f-ck said that – and we know who said that – and where he f-cking lives.”
Perlman added “There’s a lot of ways to lose your house. You wish that on people, you wish that families starve, while you’re making $27 f-cking million a year for creating nothing? Be careful, motherf-cker. Be really careful, ’cause that’s the kind of sh-t that stirs sh-t up. Peace out.”
Bob Iger might be the person that Perlman was speaking about
Immediately fans began speculating on who said that they wanted to extend the strike until the guild members lost their homes and the person who stands out the most is Disney+ CEO Bob Iger, who is reportedly in a high enough position to make those claims and who was brought on board to lead Disney after Michael Eisner left the company.
According to CNN, Iger got a good deal to take the lead of the company and his salary is the 27 Million Perlman is talking about.
